El otro día por fin pude disfrutar de una comida en el restaurante "Come y calla". Hacia tiempo que quería ir, desde que vi en televisión el estilo de cocina de Alejandro Platero. Está en la calle Poeta Antonio Chocomeli 1, en el barrio de Campanar.

The other day I could finally enjoy a meal in the "Come y calla"  (Eat and be quiet) restaurant. Long time I wanted to go, since I saw on television the cooking style of Alejandro Platero. It is on the street "Poet Antonio Chocomeli 1", in Campanar neighborhood.

Como gran seguidora de Top Chef, me apetecía conocer los platos que el finalista de la tercera edición preparaba en su restaurante.

As a big fan of Top Chef, I wanted to know the dishes that the finalist of the third edition prepares in its restaurant.

Como buen valenciano, no podía faltar una carta repleta de arroces típicos de nuestra tierra pero con un toque moderno y vanguardista e incluso algunos con ingredientes que nunca habrías pensado combinar.

As good Valencian, could not miss a letter full of typical rice dishes of our land but with a modern and avantgarde twist, and even some with ingredients that never would have thought to combine.

El restaurante me pareció muy acogedor, pequeño, moderno y de estilo nórdico.

The restaurant seemed very cozy, small, modern and with a Nordic style.

A mediodía, sirven un menú cerrado, que consta de una ensalada y 4 snacks,  el plato principal de arroz, que es lo único que se elige entre 6 o 7 variedades, y un postre. Y todo por 15€!!!!!

At noon, it serves a set menu, consisting of a salad and 4 snacks, the main dish of rice, which is all that is chosen from 6 or 7 varieties, and a dessert. And all for 15 € !!!!!

Una ensalada con tomate y cebolla confitadas con unos rollitos de queso

A salad with tomato and onion confit with some cheese rolls

Un bocado de caballa con boniato morado

A snack of mackerel with purple sweet potato

Empanadillas de verdura con atún, guacamole y wasabi

Vegetable dumplings with tuna, guacamole and wasabi

Crema de acelgas con espinacas y crujiente de garbanzos

Chard cream with spinach and crispy chickpeas

Tacos de carne con salsa barbacoa

Beef tacos with barbecue sauce

Arroz meloso de carrillada, calabaza y shitake

Chaps honeyed rice, pumpkin and shiitake

Y de postre, tarta de limón con daikiri de fresa

And for dessert, lemon cake with strawberry daikiri

mmmmmmmm estaba todo riquiiiiiiiiiiisimo!!! Muy muy muy recomendado!! Comida de calidad, con una presentación impecable, unos sabores intensos y un precio de lo más asequible.

mmmmmm it was all deliiiiiiiiciouuuuusss!!! Very very highly recommended!! Quality food, presented beautifully, some intense flavors and most affordable price.

ROCKET VIDE DRESSING

HELLO HEEELLOOOO!!!

El viernes pasado acudí a una venta de ropa, zapatos y accesorios aportados por las famosas bloggers de moda Macarena Gea y  Emma Laurin (Creadoras del espacio Rocket Space VLC, un lugar donde realizar eventos, charlas, ventas y sesiones fotográficas) Ana Goitia, de "El rincón de Anatxu" y Estefanía García de "Con 2 tacones".

El evento tuvo lugar en un edificio del centro de Valencia, en Conde Altea concretamente, que contaba con una fachada antigua restaurada, de esas que se conservan tan elegantes. El interior, muy blanco y espacioso, tenía diferentes salas llenas de ropa, zapatos y complementos.

Los precios, eran muy muy asequibles. Habían prendas por 5 y 10 €!!!! jajaja Incluso las prendas de marcas caras tenían precios razonables.

La verdad es que es la primera vez que he ido a un evento así y me ha parecido de lo más interesante, pues además de poder adquirir nuevas prendas o artículos diferentes, coincides con gente que comparte tu gusto por la moda.

Aquí os dejo algunas fotos de lo que fue esta primera edición de la Rocket Vide Dressing.

Last Friday I went to a sale of clothes, shoes and accessories provided by the famous fashion bloggers Macarena Gea and Emma Laurin (Creators of the "Rocket Space VLC", a place to hold events, lectures, sales and photo shoots) Ana Goitia from "El rincón de Anatxu" and Stephanie Garcia "Con 2 tacones".

The event took place in a building in the center of Valencia, Conde Altea in particular, that had an old facade restored, those that remain so elegant. The interior, very white and spacious, had different rooms full of clothes, shoes and complements.

The prices were very affordable. They had clothes for 5 and 10 € !!!! Even expensive brands had reasonable prices.

The truth is that it is the first time I've gone to an event and I found it very interesting, as well as to buy new clothes or different items, you coincide with people who share your taste in fashion.

ADIÓS AL ACNÉ???? // GOODBYE TO ACNE????

HOLA HOOOOLAAA!! 

Esta vez os traigo un post un tanto diferente. Hace muuuchoo muuucho tiempo, como unos 6 años, comenzaron a salirme granitos por toda la cara. Lo típico que nos ocurre a todos en la pubertad.

El caso es que pasaron y pasaron los años y ahora, a los 19 años, todavía tengo la cara llena. Tras muchas cremas de farmacia y potingues naturales, por fin me he decidido a tomarme el conocido tratamiento "Roacutan". En mi caso, mi dermatólogo me ha recomendado "Acnemin", una versión más actual del tratamiento que tanto ha dado que hablar.

No me hacía mucha gracia tomármelo, pues había leído muchas historias y casos que no me lo ponían muy fácil, la verdad. Pero al final me hice el ánimo.

Ya llevo un mes tomándomelo y la verdad es que me está yendo bien. Aun no noto que desaparezca el acné, pues es demasiado pronto, pero ya siento los efectos de sequedad de los que me habían hablado, que significan que el medicamento está funcionando. Me escuecen los ojos, se me secan los labios y toda la piel en general, me siento más cansada... pero por lo demás estoy muy bien. Las únicas recomendaciones del médico fueron no beber alcohol y no abusar del sol, así que mi vida es completamente normal e igual que antes.

Bueno, y eso es todo por hoy. Ahora toca continuar, e ir haciendo análisis periódicamente para ver que todo va según lo previsto.

He pensado escribir aquí mi seguimiento por si hay personas que se encuentran en las mismas circunstancias o para las que se están planteando empezarlo.

HELLO HEELLOOOO!!

This time I bring you a different post. A looooong time ago as about 6 years, I began to get out pimples all over my face. Typically, it happens to all of us during the puberty.

The fact is that, the years passed and passed and now, at the age  go 19, I still have my face full of pimples. After many pharmacy creams and natural potions, finally I decided to take the known treatment "Accutane". In my case, my dermatologist recommended me "Acnemin" a more current version of the treatment.

I didn't want to take it because I had read many stories and cases that do not put me very easy. But in the end I did it.

I've been taking it one month and the truth is that I'm doing well. Even I did not notice the disappearance of the acne, it is too early, but I already feel the effects of dryness of those who had spoken to me, meaning that the medicine is working. I sting my eyes, my dry lips and all my skin, I feel more tired... but otherwise I'm fine. The only doctor's recommendations were not drinking alcohol and not abuse the sun, so my life is completely normal and just like before.

Well, that's it for today. Now I have to go periodically to the doctor to be tested and to see that everything goes as we planned.
